Important Information:
When providing source files (Native Application Files) you should also include the fonts and
any graphic files that were used in your document. The reasons for this are that Red Derby
may not have the fonts used in your document. This could cause reflow of your text and
change the look of your file because of font substitution. In addition, the graphics in your
document should also be supplied because many programs only create a link to the graphic
on your computer instead of embedding it in your document. Although you can see the
graphic in your document, when the file is opened on another computer it looks for the link to
your graphic. The graphic must be provided so that the link can be updated. Also, many times
a graphic needs to be edited for size, resolution, color, etc.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email us. We're here to help.

The Native Application
Formats listed to the left
are the source programs
Red Derby uses for file
setup and editing.
However, If no editing is
required or you have a file
created in a different
program or platform
(Mac), a PDF file can be
sent. Most of the time a
PDF file is even preferred
since, if created correctly,
the fonts and graphics
don't have to be sent with
the file.
